The video below was recorded on 11/21/15 as contractors were scheduled for early Saturday morning.
Homeowner is under court order to make repairs after suspicious complaint on rental unit and years of struggling to comply with the city of Los Angeles Housing+Community Investment Department and fighting illegal foreclosure attempts by Chase, then PennyMac, the disputed "new servicer/investor". After court date was set for 01/16, it was discovered that PennyMac was trespassing and was about to tear off and replace roof without the homeowner's knowledge even as PennyMac's lawyer's were deceptively requesting a trial date for unlawful detainer. |

This video is meant to be the first in a series that will be published on YouTube and/or this site and other sites to review the response by officials and to track PennyMac's continuing lawlessness and abuse of the foreclosure process. In this case alone over $100,000 in bank fines have been ignored it is estimated. About 5 other cases reflect extreme abuse by "lenders", officials and the courts. There are potentially over 20 in the country the homeowner is personally aware of with many more documented on social media and court cases. |
The image below reflects the growing conflict in northeast Los Angeles and the perceived disconnect of it's elected officials. A review of a sample of homeowners in foreclosure showed a homeowner could have hundreds of thousands of dollars in equity or be underwater as much and still be TRAPPED. One ZIP Code in Lincoln Heights appears trapped by predatory practices on a community wide basis with people of color or recent immigrants targeted. In other areas as well as locally seniors and veterans and anyone having financial problems is being targeted regardless of race, income or age. There is other disturbing data that will be reviewed as well as violence and suffering is on the rise.
